What We Should Probably Do Next

We need better warning labels, easier ways to see sources, and schools that teach kids how to argue with a computer instead of just copying it. Companies should share more data about how often their models mess up (most still hide those numbers). And yeah, maybe a few common-sense laws wouldn’t hurt.
The future can still be awesome. Doctors catching cancer earlier, teachers giving every kid personal help, cars that never crash because they don’t drink coffee and text; all of that is possible. We just have to grow up a little as a society and handle this powerful tool without burning the house down.
AI won’t destroy the world on its own, and it won’t save us without effort either. It’s on us; regular people, companies, teachers, lawmakers; to keep the good parts and fix the broken ones before they get too big. If we do that, the next ten years could be the most exciting time to be alive in human history. If we mess it up… well, let’s not.
